Comment on an Article About Desires

This comment was related to an article on desires, but it turned into a discussion about clones. Jade thought that letting go was working, and things were going well. But she had a clone, like a creativity clone, that was reading what I said and adapting to it. Clones are mental characters in our minds that are complexes of beliefs and knowledge. When you allow clone characters to read my articles, they learn and adapt to whatever I say. Clones treat me like an authority figure that they want to obey; that is what they are programmed to do. But that is not going to get you to freedom.

Clones often copy my words and actions in the beginning of the initiation journey. It takes a while to realize that those voices that talk to you are not you…they are recordings of others. When your mind is in the habit of recording what others say, they record what I say. This is important to see and understand because you can have a spiritual clone, but it will never take you to your True Self. A clone in your mind is just like a tape recording; it will never be the same as the person who made the recording.

So when I suggested looking at this, Jade did. She saw what her mind was doing. We have to catch clones in the act to remove them. Generally, we have to remove them one belief at a time. Clones think that they are real characters, and they pretend to be our True Selves. They don’t want to die or lose their job. So they get fiesty if we go too quickly.

I’m really enjoying having a free, peaceful realm to create in without being bothered by my false self as much. I used to allow myself to follow my false self as it was so encouraging and motivational to carry out desires I thought I wanted to do, until I reached a dead end. I used to be very convincing to get other people to believe I was going to carry out my desires as well.

So I’ve noticed a big difference in my creative process. I get inspired to work on something without a real plan then the idea starts to naturally develop. When I get a feeling to stop, I stop without feeling to push it. Then I go back when I’m inspired to do so again. In the midst of these bouts, I may be listening to music or doing some other task. Either way, the inspiration usually comes at the right time for me to do something that I desire to do.

That’s good Jade, but I’m detecting an opposite somewhere in your comment. I can’t say what it is because I don’t know you. But there is something to let go. I’d take your comment one sentence at a time, and look for where you feel emotion. I suspect you’ll find something. I’ve been doing this a long time. This is very subtle. I suspect a character in your mind (like I discussed in the call) is giving you more free range. But that character will come back in if you don’t catch him or her. If you’ve had a teacher of some sort that influenced you, I’d say that is the place to look.

Hi Cathy, it’s funny because just before I came back on the site, I was reflecting on a situation after being in the environment which the same character shows up for which I was thinking that I need to let go of because it’s not fulfilling me acting as the character. The character has been blocking me from connecting with what’s in my heart. It has also been behaving from a free-range perspective, but as I said, it’s not fulfilling me. So I need to act more truthfully in regard to this situation, etc.

Yes very good. It’s strange because characters that push us to have nice or good traits don’t seem like controlling characters, but they are still not allowing us to really be ourselves. Yes, you need to defeat that character. Use the character game with them until you no longer feel the need to listen to them.

Indeed. Thanks, Cathy. I’ve got a week off from being in the environment, which I’m going to use to let go on some stuff. Then I’m going to try to be as truthful as possible and stop playing around. By running from it, I’m making it worse. I think the person knows what I’m doing. They have called me out on some stuff before; now it all makes sense. Peace!

Cathy Eck is a true pioneer always pushing the boundaries of thought and beliefs. Cathy is courageous about exposing the status quo. While her ideas might not be popular, they are effective, practical, and true. They create unity where division once existed. They create love where hate had reigned. They create joy where pain and sorrow were once normal. They are ideas worth considering and hopefully embracing.
